Return Policy
* This policy applies to products and orders purchased on HX OUTDOORS official channels (HXOUTDOORS.com). If you purchased from an authorized retailer, marketplace seller or distributor (e.g., Amazon), please contact the original seller first for returns/exchanges. HX OUTDOORS may assist in special cases but cannot guarantee direct processing for marketplace purchases.
Return Window
- United States: 30 days from date of delivery for returns.
- European Union: You have the statutory 14‑day right to cancel; HX OUTDOORS extends a 30‑day return window as a courtesy (EU customers may rely on the 14‑day statutory right if preferred).
- Other regions: Returns may be accepted depending on local logistics and applicable laws — contact support.
Eligibility
- Items must be returned in brand‑new, unused condition with no signs of wear, sharpening, damage, modification, or repair. Returned blades must include all original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories and be in a resaleable condition. We do not accept used merchandise. Returns showing any use, alteration, sharpening, or damage may be refused or subject to a restocking/deduction fee.
- Non-returnable items: custom/personalized goods, consumables, hazardous materials, flammable liquids/gases, and gift cards. If unsure, contact support before purchase.
How to Request a Return (RMA)
- Email info@hxoutdoors.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos. For alleged defects/damage/wrong item, include clear photos and a short video showing the issue.
- Authorization: All returns require a Return Authorization (RMA). Do not ship items back before receiving approval. Items sent without authorization will not be accepted.
- Approval timeframe: We will respond within 5 business days. If approved, you will receive an RMA number and return instructions. Items must be shipped back within 15 calendar days of RMA issuance; otherwise the RMA will be void.
Return Shipping Costs
- Quality issues (defect, damaged on arrival, wrong item): HX OUTDOORS will cover reasonable return shipping costs for verified quality claims. After RMA approval we will provide a prepaid return label for domestic (US) returns where applicable. International prepaid labels are not normally provided.
- Non-quality reasons (change of mind, ordered incorrectly): Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. You may use USPS or any carrier you choose; please use a tracked service and keep the tracking number.
- International returns: Return shipping and any import/customs costs are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend repair or replacement as alternatives for international customers where possible.
Free‑shipping orders
- If your original order qualified for free shipping, HX OUTDOORS will NOT deduct the original shipping cost from your refund.
Inspection & Refunds
- After your return arrives, we will inspect the item and notify you of approval or rejection.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection. Please allow an additional 3–7 business days for banks/payment providers to post the refund.
- If a returned item is received not in its original condition (used, missing accessories, or damaged), additional charges may apply or the refund may be refused; any deduction will be itemised in the inspection notice.
Replacement / Exchange
- We can process exchanges or replacements subject to product availability. For quality-related exchanges, HX OUTDOORS will cover return shipping and send the replacement as agreed. For non-quality exchanges, buyer covers return shipping; HX OUTDOORS will ship replacement once the return is received and inspected (or buyer may prepay shipping for the outgoing replacement).
Warranty & Repairs
- Limited Warranty: HX OUTDOORS provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. Warranty excludes damage from misuse, accidents, neglect, unauthorized repairs/modifications, or normal wear and tear.
- The limited warranty covers manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not apply to returns or refund requests made solely for personal preference, subjective dissatisfaction, or reasons unrelated to a manufacturing defect. Change‑of‑mind returns (non‑quality reasons) are processed under the Returns section as non‑quality returns and are not covered by the warranty.
- To start a warranty claim: contact info@hxoutdoors.com with order details, photos/videos and a description of the issue. We will attempt troubleshooting remotely; if repair or return is required we will issue instructions and an RMA. Repairs or replacements are provided at HX OUTDOORS’ discretion.
EU Consumer Rights
- EU customers retain statutory consumer rights (14‑day withdrawal). If you exercise the right to withdraw, refunds will be processed in accordance with EU law; HX OUTDOORS will refund the full amount including any standard outbound shipping cost paid by you in line with statutory rules.
Tracking, Insurance & Risk of Loss
- Please ship returns using a tracked service and keep the tracking number until refund completion. For high‑value returns, please purchase shipping insurance; HX OUTDOORS is not responsible for lost returns sent without tracking or insurance.
Chargebacks, Fraud & Third‑party Purchases
- If purchase was made through a reseller or marketplace, we may require the original seller’s confirmation before processing refunds. HX OUTDOORS reserves the right to investigate suspected fraud and may refuse refunds if fraud is confirmed. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; we prefer to resolve issues directly.
Refund Currency & Fees
- Refunds will be issued in the original currency. Any conversion differences, bank fees or card provider charges are outside HX OUTDOORS’ control and may affect the amount received.
Refunds Not Received
- If you do not receive your refund after approval, first check with your bank/payment provider. If still missing, contact info@hxoutdoors.com with your order number and the approval reference.
