When I first saw the knife in a Display case, the blade reminded me of the blade on a WWII Cataragus knife that was designed for solders who worked in supply. They used the wide sturdy blade to open up crates of supplies. The Marines spotted the knife and its bad ass blade and began getting the knife for themselves that they used in Hand to Hand with German soldiers. I understand a lot of Germans were carved up with that knife. That is the reason I fell in love with this knife. It also has a wide blade that is sharp as a razor and the small knife that comes with it is even sharper. It��s what I call ��scary�� sharp.
