Great little axe, Well built, Very Solid and Sharp! My only complaint is the lack of option for a Left or Right side sheath, It comes with a Left Side Sheath but for someone like me who is right handed and want it on my strong side makes that an issue!

Other than the sheath I am happy with the purchase and am looking forward to using it in the field!

I would purchase again if they come out with an option to pick a Left or Right side sheath!

This axe is serious business. It came very sharp and will make an excellent addition to my edc. If you're on the fence about buying it, make the jump and do it. You won't regret it.

I am a carpenter... I am very attached to the extension and sensitive.. Camping axe luxury (Carpenter equipment full pass tool) I bought it because the iron material is made of medium grade, and the ax handle is integrated. Shipping in normal ways is not tracked. The seller gave a link to the site on which the track was lying. The goods arrived a month before Izhevsk. It looks like a good ax, although a little rough made, you need to correct the edges on the handle, or work with gloves. The sharpening is good, it shaves the hair, let's see how it will keep this sharpening.

The roll arrived) live is even more pleasant. Caidex sheath is quick-release. Sharpening norms. It is difficult to say about the quality of the metal yet. In reviews for similar ones, which are 1,5 times cheaper, was so-so. But functionally praised.

The best seller on AliExpress!!! Two thumbs up . Hatchet comes very sharp, unfortunately the handle has sharp edges as well (easily fixed). Ordered March 18, in my hands March 20. Faster and cheaper than Amazon. Can��t recommend this seller enough.

THREADLOCK ALL SCREWS
Upon reading reviews I read that each screw was basically super glued in. Although the quality is very good I highly suggest 2 things. First unscrew each Allen screw and put threadlock on them ALL even the hammer head needed it. The other thing is I highly suggest wrapping the handle in paracord, although ergonomically it is very comfortable to hold the G10 handle either needs the edges ground smooth or wrapped with paracord. I chose the latter to have extra paracord on hand. It came out of the box extremely sharp with no touch ups. Has a great weight to it and is a perfect size. I believe at its price point this is an excellent bug. I would give it a solid 5 stars once the 2 things I've mentioned are done. Personally neither of those would prevent me from purchasing again. Stay frosty folks.

Freaking awesome
The Axe:
A great quality blade! Came razor sharp, has a nice tactical look, it��s durable, reliable, and sexy. The hammer is a nice feature, as is the crowbar. The handle is great. Provides a nice grip and leaves plenty of room for your hands, big or small.

The Sheath:
Another thing I love about this purchase. It��s a nice, durable kydex sheath which allows you to remove the axe quicker and more efficiently. It has a very nice and easy clip on the back and is perfect for any molle gear.

OVERALL:
A great purchase. So happy with this axe, it��s worth every dime. Perfect for hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, home defense, and combat. Would very highly recommend this item.

Badass!
This thing is quality! I hate when I buy something that looks good but turns out to be junk. You don't have to worry about that with this item. I've used it several times and this thing feels great in your hands and you can tell it's quality when you hold it.

Why is the paint fading?
I'm not sure if this is normal but it literally came in like this.

Great Tactical Hatchet
Awesome tactical hatchet that's extremely sharp and sturdy. It's better for one-handed use rather than two.

My only complaint: the prybar end is a little sharp to a point where it almost needs a cover-sheath.

Great product for the price!
This tactical tomahawk has all of the features for a great price. It is extremely sharp and the G10 scales are OK. The sheath that comes with it adds to the value. The only thing I don't like is that the hammer head wiggles before I really used it and the prying end is not at an angle for ease of use.

Disclaimer: I bought this axe with the intent of having it be a bit of an art blade project. Long story short, the axe is 100% usable straight out of the box, and is an awesome tool you should buy.

The Great: This axe is a fantastic buy at the listed price ($79.99 as of my purchase), as compared to other available brands in a similar style. The length is great for being able to get good swing leverage, there are finger grooves at strategic locations on the head for doing lighter shaving-shaping tasks. The hammer pad-head is removable (though I don't really have any reason to), but the advantage is this: You will NOT break the head of this 440C axe by hitting something with the hammer pad, unlike a cast-badly-forged axe of similar styling. Speaking of, this axe is FULL tang, which is inherently better for longevity & reliability. Two holes above the pry bar, I'm not sure what exactly they're for, but they're going to be used for a lanyard on mine. The fitment of the head sheath is awesome, and fully adjustable in regards to wearing-mounting position. The design of the cutting edges is, arguably, incredibly handy for different types of cutting tasks, although at first glance it simply appears tacti-cool & generally function-less.

The Good: The use of the composite scales is a decent choice, but the ergonomics are lacking; HX made a solid attempt at indicating holding positions by including strangely-small finger grooves along the scales, but the overall feel of the scales is not what I would call comfortable. They are reasonably "sharp" to the touch, though this is easily correctable by sanding them down over the course of a few minutes. The addition of a multi-size hex-head wrench is nice, though I doubt I will use it much (who knows? Maybe I will). The pry bar seems very well-shaped, and will definitely come in useful if I find myself needing one.

The Not-So-Great: The screws that came in the axe handle are NOT black-oxide coated, as one might assume by looking at the pictures. They ARE, in fact, PAINTED black. In addition, the assemblers clearly cheaped out on thread-lock, instead using cyanoacrylate (super) glue; the solvent in the glue obviously reacted with the paint on the screws, creating a nasty congealed mess under the screw heads. I removed the screws & posts, and underneath the screw heads, the composite itself was literally a bit melted from the excess glue reacting to the polymer resin binder in the laminate. Was very nasty and smelled terrible before I cleaned it all off. I'm really not entirely sure why they cheaped out on hardware and thread-lock, since those aren't expensive to begin with. I can't imagine HX is producing-selling these in a volume that would require the possible cost-savings of using painted screws and super-glue in lieu of Loc-Tite and black-oxide screws.

My Solutions: I'll be replacing the composite scales with rosewood, profiled to match the existing scales, and I'll be wrapping the handle in a style similar to Japanese Tsukamaki, with a leather over wood core, finished in silk or leather ito (specifically in Hineri-maki style). The pins will probably be bamboo mekugi pins, rather than screws, since the ito will compress the whole thing and keep everything together. Not sure what exactly, but I'll be adding menuki to the build as well.

All in all, a 4-star tool. Definitely solid, useful outdoors, and cool-looking. Well-worth the $80 purchase price. I'm making a project out of mine (like so many other people with so many other axes & knives), but this axe is more than usable right out of the box. That said, HX, please use black-oxide screws and thread-lock. Please?

Better than I expected.
Axe came sharp as hell. Also, well built. I'm not a stickler for tools, but I was sure it took 2 months to ship from China. But, that's due to not having a prime option available. Buuuut, tested it out and performed as expected. Now it a part of my BOB-Camping bag. Man, this thing is awesome.
